Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Register inpatients and admitted hospital-based outpatients for services.
• Pre-admit patients and verify insurance eligibility and authorization.
• Interview patients or representatives to confirm personal and insurance information.
• Explain billing, patient rights, and HIPAA; provide hospital literature.
• Collect co-pays when applicable and forward to Business Office.
