Qualifications

  • Minimum one year admitting experience.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with health insurance terminology.
  • Proficient with department computer programs and EPIC.

Responsibilities

  • Greets patients and directs to appropriate services with professionalism.
  • Acts as a positive role model and informs team of issues.
  • Maintains 98% accuracy in identifying, scheduling, and registering patients.
  • Monitors patient flow and communicates delays; supports EHR workflow.
  • Handles co-pay collection per department standards.
  • Supports daily office functions and shift handoffs.
  • Ensures scheduling and registration are accurate in the health system's EHR.
