Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• 1 year of related experience preferred, in medical, financial services, or customer service.
• Experience operating a PC and using software applications.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and preregister patients; verify demographics and benefits; ensure accurate data for billing.
• Verify insurance information via payor contacts or electronic systems; follow up on authorization/ referrals.
• Identify patient financial responsibilities; estimate costs and collect payments in ADT system; handle self-pay scenarios.
• Deliver positive patient experience and maintain professional relationships with patients and external contacts.
• Maintain productivity and look for process improvements; follow organizational policies and complete trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
