PACE by IIH is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator in Anaheim, CA to support the department with order entry, authorization processing, scheduling, and verification calls. The role acts as a liaison between patients and medical staff, requiring clear communication and meticulous follow-up.

Under the Operations Manager, you will gather required documentation, obtain prior authorizations, and ensure timely confirmations while delivering outstanding customer service to participants and providers.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a scheduling, authorization and referrals health care setting preferred.
• Managed care experience preferred.
• Strong Customer Service background.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Skilled in organizational techniques including time management, prioritization, multitasking, and problem solving.
• One year of documented experience working with a frail or elderly population preferred.
• EHR experience a plus.
• Health insurance experience and knowledge preferred.
