R1 RCM Inc. is seeking a Patient Access Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact for patients at LifePoint Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown, PA.

This on-site role covers multiple shifts including 9am-9pm and rotating weekends; training provided to ensure accurate care access and revenue cycle support. You’ll handle check-in, phone questions, and insurance information with empathy and professionalism while collaborating with care teams to keep patient flow

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in patient access, registration, or insurance verification is a plus but not required.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families at check-in across multiple systems.
• Answer phones and collect accurate patient information quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimize delays in registration and assist with questions with confidence and compassion.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and care teams to ensure smooth patient flow.
