Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative - Patient Registration at LifePoint Conemaugh Meyersdale Medical Center. This PRN, part-time role requires open availability, day/evening/overnight shifts, and a rotating on-call schedule.

You will register patients, collect demographics and insurance information, and support efficient hospital operations. You will join a team focused on providing compassionate, accurate access to care, with training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in customer service or front desk is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and assist patients and families with check-in across multiple computer systems.
• Answer phones and gather accurate patient information quickly.
• Build trust with patients during stressful moments and ensure smooth patient flow.
• Navigate insurance plans, collect co-pays, and provide cost estimates when applicable.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and care teams to ensure timely access to care.
