Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Clinic Service Representative to serve as the first point of contact for patients at our Detroit-area clinic. You will manage registration, insurance verification, and financial responsibilities while supporting clinicians and staff in a fast-paced setting.

Ensure accurate check-in and documentation, provide courteous service by phone and in person, and help maintain an organized clinic environment with patient satisfaction as a priority.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills, including navigating software, email, and logging in/out of systems.
• Ability to perform calculations and complete forms accurately.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with diverse populations.
• Dependable, punctual, and organized with strong multitasking abilities.
• Familiarity with a clinic environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients, ensuring accurate registration and insurance verification.
• Handle cash collections and discuss general financial responsibilities with patients.
• Reconcile patient charts and manage discharge processes efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and clinic staff in person and over the phone.
• Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks with frequent interruptions.
• Support team members and contribute to a culture of service excellence.
