Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Supervising professional for the Patient Access Center (PAC) in Massachusetts. The role supervises daily PAC operations, schedules staff, and ensures high-quality patient and provider experiences across multiple clinics and campuses.

Responsibilities include staff onboarding, performance evaluations, escalation management, and collaboration with HR and clinic leadership to implement process improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business, healthcare, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1+ year supervisory experience in health care.
• 2+ years of progressive management or scheduling experience.
• Able to work in a high-volume environment with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities for the Patient Access Center and manage staff/work queues.
• Supervise PAC personnel; conduct onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
• Act as liaison between clinics, departments and leadership; support process improvements.
• Handle scheduling duties including patient contacts, insurance data, and records requests.
