Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA, is seeking a PAC Supervisor to oversee the daily operation of the Patient Access Center, ensuring efficient scheduling, accurate data, and strong patient and provider experience. You will supervise PAC staff, participate in hiring, provide onboarding and training, manage escalations, and collaborate with clinics to drive process improvements.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, 40 hours weekly; base salary range $53,580.80 - $96,428.80 with potential

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of supervisory experience in a health care environment.
• 2+ years of experience in scheduling services.
• 1-3 years of progressive management experience or demonstrated office-management skills.
• Must be able to work in a high-volume, team-oriented environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily PAC activities, including staffing and workload distribution.
• Onboard and train PAC staff; conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
• Serve as liaison with clinics, departments and leadership to improve processes.
• Schedule patients, manage requests, and collect required demographics and insurance details.
• Handle escalated calls and ensure optimal patient and provider experience.
