Job summary

Variety Care seeks a Patient Access Center Manager to oversee PAS Supervisors and Specialists, ensuring top-tier customer service and adherence to performance targets. The role requires leadership, workflow development, and cross-department coordination to maintain efficient patient access operations.

Responsibilities include monitoring staff productivity, generating key reports, and implementing process improvements across the PAC. Strong problem solving and HR policy knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; or minimum of three years’ experience in health care management or call center operations.
• One or two years of leadership experience in training and/or supervising staff.
• Experience solving problems and using reports to manage metrics.
• Experience with HR policies: hiring, coaching, disciplining.
• Experience in customer service or direct patient experience with handling complaints.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of PAS Supervisors and PAS team, ensuring high customer service and achievement of goals.
• Monitor productivity and generate reports to manage department efficiency.
• Develop and update workflows across PAC and related departments in coordination with the Administrator.
• Direct and train PAS Supervisors on orientation and staff development.
• Ensure systems and procedures support smooth operations and patient needs.
