Job summary

The University of Washington Medical Center-Montlake in Seattle is hiring a Patient Services Specialist 2 for a full-time, on-site daytime role. You will support staff, providers, and patients with efficient communications, triage calls, scheduling, and collection of demographic and clinical information while collaborating with the clinic team to ensure patient satisfaction and high-quality care.

This role operates Monday–Friday (8:00am–4:30pm) with no telework, and offers a competitive hourly

Qualifications

• High School graduation or equivalent.
• AND one year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience.
• Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.

Responsibilities

• Providing staff, providers, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications, including phone answering and call triaging
• Scheduling provider and ancillary service appointments
• Obtaining patient demographic, financial, and clinical information
• Partnering with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery
• Other duties as requested
