Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a health care setting performing similar functions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and arrive patients into data systems.
• Verify demographics and insurance; scan insurance cards.
• Obtain patient signatures on forms and route appropriately.
• Answer calls, triage, and take messages as needed.
• Enter registrations, referrals, and appointments into the EMR.
• Request medical records from referring facilities per intake sheet.
• Prepare records for nursing review and manage mail.
• Assist scheduling of ancillary patient appointments.
• Maintain waiting area appearance and supplies.
• Communicate with patients, families, and coworkers to coordinate care.
