Responsibilities

• Greets and arrives patients; secures signatures; follows policies and procedures.
• Obtains and verifies insurance and demographic information; reconciles work lists.
• Facilitates patient care between primary, specialty, and ancillary services.
• Welcomes and coordinates intake of patient information and maintains medical records.
• Processes and routes incoming calls and responds to inquiries.
• Schedules, confirms, or reschedules patient appointments; promotes enrollment.
• Distributes mail and faxes; educates patients on form completion.
• Supports a culture of patient-centered care; works on projects as needed.
