Job summary

UCLA Health is hiring a Patient Access & Care Coordination Manager to oversee navigation, scheduling, intake operations, and multidisciplinary care coordination for behavioral health programs.

You will lead a team of clinical and administrative professionals, optimize patient access workflows, and improve service delivery while ensuring regulatory compliance and streamlined patient journeys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field is required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in healthcare operations, patient access, care coordination, or clinic administration.
• Minimum 5 years supervising professional and administrative staff in healthcare.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with patient scheduling workflows, referral management, and insurance processes.
• Knowledge of Epic/CareConnect and EMR workflows is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team supporting patient access and care coordination services.
• Oversee intake, scheduling, referral management, and patient navigation operations.
• Analyze workflows and implement process improvements to enhance access and efficiency.
• Partner with clinical and administrative leadership to optimize patient flow.
• Escalate complex scheduling, authorization, and care coordination challenges.
• Ensure compliance with regulators and organizational policies.
