Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience involving interactions with customers.
• Basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to protect privacy, confidentiality, and PHI of patients.

Responsibilities

• Greets and registers patients, checks in/out and verifies demographic data.
• Schedules appointments for visits, procedures, tests, referrals and consultations.
• Documents all calls and encounters accurately in the EMR.
• Collects payments and assists patients with related billing forms.
• Protects patient privacy and PHI; works collaboratively with care teams.
