Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills with word processing and data entry.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to protect privacy, confidentiality and PHI.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in/out patients and verify information.
• Document all calls and interactions in the EMR.
• Schedule appointments for visits, procedures, tests, referrals, and consultations.
• Assist with insurance cards, IDs, forms; verify benefits and authorization when needed.
• Educate patients on financial assistance and collect payments as required.
