Qualifications

• Customer service skills including telephone etiquette and patient interaction are required.
• Ability to schedule appointments and manage patient flow within a fast-paced clinic.
• Experience handling cash, insurance updates, and patient check-in/out processes.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and guests; check-in/check-out and manage wait times.
• Answer calls with clinic greeting; transfer calls and provide assistance as needed.
• Prepare patient charts and ensure privacy and accurate identification during visits.
• Verify demographics and insurance information; collect co-pays and post charges.
• Scan insurance cards and document in medical records; maintain orderly reception area.
• Respond to patient requests for medical records and scheduling needs.
