Memorial Healthcare System seeks a Patient Financial Services Representative to greet patients, verify demographics, and collect information for insurance and billing. In this role you will explain financial policies, provide estimates, and guide patients through the financial aspects of care.

You will balance daily deposits, answer questions, and coordinate referrals and pre-certifications as needed in a dynamic hospital setting.

Competenze

• Excellent communication skills and critical thinking required.
• No experience required; 1 year of related hospital, medical office, or customer service experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Greet patients and guarantors in person or at bedside and collect demographic, financial, and insurance information.
• Provide patient estimates and answer questions in a courteous manner.
• Prepare daily deposits of collected payments and balance them.
• Explain policies and obtain required signatures for notices and consent forms.
• Assist with discharge processes including scheduling and referrals.
