Aufgaben

• Responsible for checking patients in for appointments and verifying demographics.
• Assures all check-in procedures are completed and monitors patient wait times.
• Reads and interprets insurance responses and assigns primary, secondary, and tertiary coverage as needed.
• Ensures patient receives necessary disclosures and privacy information, and collects necessary signatures.
• Completes patient visits by scheduling follow-up appointments and referrals as appropriate.
• Handles multi-channel messages regarding appointments, referrals, prescriptions, and complaints.
• Notifies patients of anticipated financial responsibility and collects copays, deductibles, and coinsurance.
• Maintains patient recall and reschedule lists and performs medical record maintenance.
