Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Enter and update patient demographic and insurance data in registration systems.
• Verify insurance coverage and determine COB, pre-certifications, and referrals.
• Explain prepayment requirements and screen for funding sources.
• Collect, post, and reconcile patient payments and obtain receipts.
• Maintain awareness of regulatory forms and billing information.
