Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient flow from entry to destination in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
• Generate accurate financial and demographic records to ensure maximum reimbursement.
• Schedule appointments and interview patients for appropriate medical information.
• Explain charges and policies of the department/hospital to patients.
• Validate and enter charges into appropriate systems; collect payments as needed.
• Answer incoming calls and direct patients and visitors appropriately.
