• Initiate pre-registration and maintain up-to-date demographic/insurance information.
• Verify insurance, benefits, and referrals; obtain IDs and validate coverage.
• Provide upfront financial counseling and explain payment policies.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy standards and protect patient information.
• Facilitate smooth patient flow and assist patients with questions about appointments and charges.
• Train other staff and ensure compliance with company policies.
