Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking a dedicated Patient Access Associate to join the team. The role is full-time, days, Monday–Friday 10:00 AM–6:30 PM with rotating weekends and every other Friday/Wednesday off.

You will register patients, verify identities and insurance, interact with EMR systems, and provide financial counseling and scheduling support as part of a busy hospital front desk.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication and reliability are essential.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Register patients, verify identity and insurance details.
• Scan documents, answer phones, and operate EMR/eligibility tools.
• Provide financial estimates and collect payments.
• Schedule routine appointments and coordinate transport.
• Maintain HIPAA and other regulatory compliance.
