Working Sunday-Thursday, 7:00 PM–3:30 AM, you will engage with diverse teams, educate patients on financial options, and help maintain accurate patient records while upholding service standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of customer service or 1 year of experience in a medical setting.
• Associates degree can substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Works independently to complete assignments with minimal supervision and improves workflow to reduce errors.
• Selects appropriate communication method for audiences and adjusts as needed.
• Explains insurance benefits and patient liability clearly.
• Uses online payer verification systems to obtain and validate insurance information timely.
• Coordinates with departments to assist or transport patients and visitors needing special attention.
• Educates patients on completing applications for alternative sources of payment.
• Reports safety hazards and protects guests and environment as needed.
• Communicates scheduling changes to patients, staff and physicians promptly.
