Job summary

Qualifications

Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Meets Pre-Screening Protocol and testing for proficiencies in computer skills, phone skills, and customer service knowledge.
Demonstrated competency in teamwork and effective communication across levels.
Ability to learn site-specific patient processing software.
Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Able to function in high-paced, stressful environments while remaining courteous.

Responsibilities

Register patients while delivering strong guest relations and customer service.
Review scheduled outpatient visits to ensure discount screening.
Discuss payer sources and payment arrangements with patients.
Assist with completion of Financial Assistance Forms and Medicaid applications.
Review accounts for accuracy and update patient records as needed.
Know and follow compliance or legally required registration forms and documents.
