Job summary

Boulder Medical Center is seeking a customer service–oriented Medical Receptionist to join our collaborative Patient Access Associate team in Boulder, CO. This full-time role is ideal for friendly, organized individuals who deliver a warm first impression for patients, whether in person or on the phone.

You’ll work with medical providers, clinical staff, and administrative teams to ensure smooth operations, with structured onboarding and training.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers the telephone promptly, evaluating patient needs to determine appointment type.
• Schedules / reschedules / cancels appointments according to provider preference and scheduling protocol.
• Navigates and operates Electronic Medical Records system, arriving patient for appointments and inputting relevant information as needed.
