Qualifications

• Must use good judgment, professionalism and discretion when screening telephone calls and relaying information.

Responsibilities

• Answer the telephone promptly and assess patient needs for appointment type.
• Summarize appointment details before ending calls.
• Manage call functions (transfers, holds, after-hours) efficiently.
• Record patient demographics accurately.
• Schedule/reschedule/cancel appointments per provider preferences.
• Navigate the EMR system and arrive patients for appointments.
