HSS is seeking a Patient Access Specialist to be the first point of contact for patients and families, ensuring a positive experience while supporting the efficient delivery of care. This role handles scheduling, pre-registration, and registration in the Epic system.

You will verify benefits, collect co-pays, and maintain accurate records, collaborating with clinical and administrative teams. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 0-1 years experience in admitting and/or ambulatory setting or patient registration in an outpatient setting.
• Healthcare/Medical admissions experience in a hospital or ambulatory care setting is desirable.

Mansioni

• Schedule, pre-registration, and registration using the Epic system.
• Verify benefits electronically or by phone and coordinate insurance coverage.
• Collect co-payments and other patient financial obligations.
• Enter demographic information and maintain accurate patient records.
• Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
