UnitedHealth Group, in partnership with Allina Health, invites you to join our Patient Access Representative Associate role at 2805 Campus Dr., Plymouth, MN. This position greets patients and handles standard registration by collecting demographic and insurance data and entering information into the electronic medical record.

You will verify eligibility, collect co-pays, explain financial assistance, assist with applications, and support scheduling.

Qualificações

• At least 6 months of customer service experience in an office or hospital setting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Able to work a per diem schedule and 16 hours per pay period.
• Standard daytime hours Mon-Fri for training.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsabilidades

• Greets and welcomes patient in person.
• Collects demographic and insurance information.
• Checks in and interviews patients to complete paperwork.
• Directs patient to their appointment or procedure.
• May assist in scheduling add-on appointments.
• Documents issues and resolutions in the electronic medical record.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and benefits information for payers.
• Collects co-pays or deductibles and explains financial assistance programs.
