The Role

Your Mission: As our next Patient Access Application Analyst you will serve as a key contributor to our application support and delivery function. Reporting to the Application Manager, you will provide intermediate-level support for multi-user clinical and financial applications, operating systems, hardware, software, and reporting tools. In this role, you will be responsible for installation, configuration, training, maintenance, and ongoing support of these systems while applying your expertise in systems analysis and project delivery. You will also bring strong project management knowledge, including the ability to participate in and help lead project planning sessions, establish project goals and milestones, and support the development of project procedures. You will contribute to managing projects of varying complexity and collaborate closely with project leaders to ensure deadlines are met and initiatives are delivered successfully. As a trusted partner to clinical, operational, and cross-functional teams, you will promote excellent customer service and clear communication while educating and training departments on current applications. You will work closely with Xtensys team members and stakeholders to identify needs, resolve issues, and achieve project and organizational goals.

What You'll Do Day-to-Day

  • Gather and translate business and clinical requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Provide guidance to team members and collaborate with other departments and Xtensys staff to promote effective use of applications.
  • Identify issues that fall outside established solutions and elevate them to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and changes to project leaders to help keep projects on track.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare information technology, or a related field; or an Associate’s degree combined with equivalent relevant experience.
Certifications
  • Epic Grand Central certification required.
  • Epic Prelude Certification preferred.
Proven Track Record
  • Must have 3+ years of experience in technology, healthcare, or related industry.
Physical Readiness
  • Capability for sedentary work, including sitting for long periods and occasionally exerting up to 10 pounds of force. (Note: Update if the role requires lifting heavy hardware/servers).
Travel Requirements
  • Up to 25% (this includes ‘golive’ implementations)
