• Verify insurance/other payer benefits and perform upfront collections.
• Determine eligibility and arrange for admission of patients following policies and procedures.
• Obtain signatures of individuals responsible for payment and explain hospital financial obligation.
• Answer the telephone and direct calls accordingly.
• Assist with ordering office supplies as needed and prepare letters/correspondence.
