• Uses online verification systems (TMHP, FISS, Availity) for eligibility.
• Explains rates and hospital policies regarding up-front collections.
• Opens/closes cash batches and processes payments with receipts.
• Maintains patient confidentiality per HIPAA requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
