Qualifications

• Six months of work experience in a medical office setting or one year in a high-volume public-contact role.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CHAA certification is preferred.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete compliance documentation for patient admissions as required by policy and payer requirements.
• Obtain signatures on registration documents and register patients per physician orders.
• Collect co-pays, deposits, and insurance information; ensure timely payments.
• Scan insurance cards and IDs; verify coverage using electronic systems.
• Provide courteous, professional customer service in person and over the phone.
