Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of Customer Care/Support experience required.
• One year of hospital registration or related experience may substitute for two years of general customer service.
• Post-high school education may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Registers/pre-registers patients and updates information with signatures and regulatory documents.
• Calculates and communicates anticipated out-of-pocket expenses.
• Verifies insurance eligibility accurately and timely.
• Follows up on accounts with incomplete information for resolution.
• Transports/escorts patients as needed.
