Job summary

Montefiore Health System is seeking a Project Manager I for the Pathology Operations space. You will plan, manage, and execute multiple complex projects, coordinating with Clinical and Administrative leadership across site-based teams.

You will develop project plans, timelines, and milestones while supporting Einstein academic programs. The role interfaces with faculty and staff to improve and grow the Pathology service line, involving process redesign and system implementation to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM, business, or communications required; Master’s preferred.
• 1–3 years project management or analyst experience.
• PM certification (PMP/CAPM) preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Visio a plus.
• Understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
• Waterfall, Agile, or Scrum familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with departmental leadership to ensure outcomes aligned with goals.
• Prepare project work plans and timeliness for implementation.
• Collaborate with leadership to transform processes and implement new systems.
• Develop technical expertise in all aspects of project development.
• Perform administrative functions such as data reporting and office tasks.
• Prepare agendas for department and site-based meetings.
