Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center's Division of Clinical Pathology in Bronx, NY is seeking a Project Manager I to oversee multiple complex projects within the Clinical and Anatomic Pathology space and support Einstein academic programs. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Pathology Operations, you will develop project plans, timelines, and milestones and organize site-based activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Business, or Communications required; Master’s preferred.
• 1–3 years Project Management or Analyst experience required.
• PMP or CAPM certification preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Visio a plus.
• Understanding of PM methods; budgeting, scheduling, and resource management basics.
• Waterfall, Agile, or Scrum knowledge desired but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Work with departmental leadership to ensure outcomes aligned with goals.
• Prepare project work plans and timeliness for implementation.
• Collaborate with leadership to transform processes and design new workflows.
• Develop technical expertise in project development areas.
• Perform data reporting and other office-based project tasks.
• Prepare agendas and coordinate site-based meetings.
