Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center, Division of Clinical Pathology, Bronx, NY, seeks a Project Manager I to plan, manage, and execute multiple complex projects within the pathology space. You will develop project plans, timelines, and milestones and coordinate site-based activities to support initiatives that improve service lines.

The role interfaces with Clinical and Administrative leadership and staff, requiring collaboration to design workflows, implement new systems, and drive programmatic changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Business, or Communications Related Program required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years Project Management or Analyst experience required.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Microsoft Visio a plus.
• Understanding of project management methods (Waterfall, Agile, or Scrum) preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing and manage multiple projects with changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop project work plans, timeliness, and milestones.
• Collaborate with leadership to transform processes and implement new workflows and systems.
• Develop technical expertise in all aspects of project development.
• Perform data reporting and other office-based functions.
• Prepare agendas and facilitate site-based meetings.
