Job summary

Belle Tire Inc. offers a Manager in Training (MIT) program designed to develop future store leaders through hands-on retail operations, coaching, and leadership responsibilities.

You’ll work with a Store Manager mentor to learn to lead teams, drive sales, manage operations, and provide premium customer service. The MIT program covers leadership development, sales execution, operational management, and financial basics, with travel to other stores and training centers as needed.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience in a retail or customer-facing environment.
• Desire to advance into Store Manager role within 6–12 months.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced setting.
• Financial acumen and comfort with data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Learn to lead, coach, and motivate a retail team to achieve business and customer goals.
• Develop leadership and communication skills that foster trust and accountability.
• Observe and assist in team huddles, performance feedback, and training sessions.
• Apply strategic thinking by connecting daily tasks to broader store goals.
• Execute Belle Tire's 6-Step Sales Process to ensure customer-focused interactions.
• Support team in identifying customer needs and offering effective solutions.
• Gain hands-on experience with store operations: staffing, scheduling, inventory, and safety.
• Learn fundamentals of P&L management and analyze financial reports with guidance.
• Promote Belle Tire's culture, values, and customer-first mindset.
