Job summary

Belle Tire Inc. is seeking a Manager in Training (MIT) to grow into a Store Manager by learning every facet of retail operations under a Store Manager mentor. You will lead teams, drive sales, and deliver premium customer service while adopting the Belle Tire Way and values.

The program blends hands-on store experience, classroom instruction, and digital learning modules, with opportunities to travel to training centers and future relocation for leadership roles.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience in a retail or related customer-facing environment.
• Desire to advance into a Store Manager role within 6–12 months.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Financial acumen and comfort with data-driven decision making.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate a retail team to achieve goals.
• Develop leadership and communication skills to foster trust and engagement.

• Assist in team huddles, feedback, and training sessions.
• Apply strategic thinking to connect daily tasks to store goals.
• Learn and execute the 6-Step Sales Process with customers.
• Support sales across products and services while maintaining service standards.
• Gain hands-on experience in staffing, scheduling, inventory, and operations.
• Understand how decisions impact customer experience and store performance.
• Analyze financial reports under Store Manager guidance and suggest improvements.
