Troutman Pepper Locke LLP seeks an IP Services Assistant to support the firm’s intellectual property practice by assisting with U.S. and international patent prosecution. The role reviews daily dockets, handles correspondence, and helps prepare and e-file documents with the USPTO and other agencies.

Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to ensure deadlines are met and records are maintained, with an annual billable hour requirement of 750.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years of progressive patent prosecution experience.

Responsabilités

• Prepare documents for USPTO patent filings.
• Draft routine reporting letters to clients and foreign associates.
• Create inventor formality documents for USPTO submission.
• Respond to client instructions regarding US, PCT, and foreign applications.
• Monitor deadlines for US and foreign docket and coordinate with attorneys.
• Maintain spreadsheets related to portfolio management for clients.
• Save documents in iManage and ensure accurate records.
