Our client, a fully remote, boutique intellectual property law firm is seeking an experienced patent agent with a degree in Electrical Engineering and significant experience preparing and prosecuting patents in the artificial intelligence space. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a collaborative team of IP professionals on cutting-edge technologies for global innovators.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications, with a focus on electrical engineering and AI-related technologies

Work closely with inventors, in-house counsel, and attorneys to develop high-quality patent portfolios

Conduct patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses

Stay current on developments in AI and emerging technologies to provide strategic guidance to clients

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field

USPTO registration required

Demonstrated experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, or data science inventions

Strong technical writing and communication skills
