Location: Remote (US East Coast Candidates Preferred)

A high-growth global technology company operating at the intersection of life sciences and software is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its expanding legal team. The organization provides advanced SaaS solutions that support data integrity and regulatory compliance in clinical research and healthcare innovation.

The role is fully remote, with a preference for candidates based on the East Coast and reports directly to the Head of Legal.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including SaaS, licensing, and strategic partnership contracts.
• Provide legal guidance on US and global data privacy regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.) and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Advise on regulatory and operational matters related to clinical trials and software deployment.
• Support corporate governance, risk management, and M&A initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Finance, Compliance) to align legal strategy with business goals.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and proactively manage associated risks.

Experience:

• JD-qualified attorney with 4–7 years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong background in SaaS and pharmaceutical/life sciences sectors.
• Proven ability to manage complex commercial and regulatory legal issues.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, global, and remote environment.
