Job summary

El Rancho Supermercado in Texas is seeking a Pastry Decorator to join our bakery team. You will prepare fresh baked goods daily, follow recipes, label, and store products while delivering friendly customer service.

You’ll decorate cakes and pastries, assist with desserts, manage inventory, and help keep the display case stocked. Bilingual in English and Spanish and a valid Food Handlers Card are preferred; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Food Handlers Card.
• Customer Service, pastry decorating, and retail experience desirable.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Assist Pastry team with preparing desserts and pastries as needed.
• Take cake orders, ensure the department has fresh fruits and products, and maintain a fully stocked display case.
• Decorate cakes and pastries for customers.
• Use artistic skills to create decorated cakes and pastries and mix colors for icing.
• Conduct inventory on a regular basis to ensure proper levels.
