Job summary

El Rancho Supermercado in Garland, TX, is seeking a Pastry Clerk to deliver friendly, quality customer service in a retail setting. You will model our core values while supporting the pastry department and maintaining product displays, pricing, and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, stocking pastry items, handling orders in person or by phone, and upholding food safety and loss prevention guidelines. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Food Handlers Card.
• Customer Service and retail experience desirable.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Organize products in display cases and tables while ensuring fully-stocked cases.
• Maintain standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, and food safety.
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while examining rotation of all Pastry products.
• Take food orders in person and by telephone.
• All other duties as assigned.
