Position Overview

The beautiful Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek and Waldorf Astoria Orlando are seeking a Pastry Cook I to join their team. These properties feature 12 dining outlets and require candidates with 3-5 years of pastry and bakery experience, preferably in a hotel setting. Expertise in bread and viennoiserie production, including sourdough, croissants, brioche, and other pastries, is essential.

Shift and Compensation

Shift Pattern: Flexible hours between 6 am and 9 pm, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay Rate: $24.02 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Create and bake pastries, breads, rolls, and desserts according to recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and food sanitation standards.
  • Ensure proper storage and refrigeration of products.
  • Develop new menu items as needed.
  • Follow food handling and storage regulations.
  • Display baked goods attractively.
  • Prepare daily supply requisitions.
