Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group is seeking a Pastry Cook to join our growing team. You’ll learn from a seasoned Pastry Chef, prep and bake pastries, and help bring the Pastry Chef’s vision to life.

We’re looking for at least one year of pastry kitchen experience, a positive energy, and a flexible schedule that includes days, nights, weekends and holidays. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in a pastry kitchen.
• Able to read and follow baking directions.
• Able to communicate with managers and guests.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prep and bake pastry and baked goods per standard recipes.
• Maintain portions, methods, quality standards and kitchen rules.
• Complete daily prep and closing checklists, keeping a sanitary station.
• Report shortages or issues to the Pastry Chef or manager-on-duty.
