Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group is seeking a Pastry Cook to join our on-site culinary team. You will prep and bake pastries, learning from a seasoned Pastry Chef and contributing to dessert and baked goods that align with our menu vision.

Candidates should have at least one year in a pastry setting, a positive attitude, and the ability to follow recipes and kitchen procedures. This position offers growth opportunities within IRHG and a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• One year of pastry kitchen experience, preparing and cooking.
• Ability to follow recipes, standard portions, and kitchen procedures.
• Team player with positive energy and strong communication.
• Willingness to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to understand basic baking and cooking directions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all dessert and baked goods on the menu using standard recipes.
• Adhere to portion sizes, methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules.
• Complete prep lists and closing checklists, maintaining a clean station.
• Report shortages or issues to Pastry Chef or Executive Chef.
