Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group is seeking a Pastry Cook in Charleston, SC to join a fast-paced kitchen. You will learn from a seasoned Pastry Chef, prep and bake pastry items, and help bring the chef’s vision to life.

You should have at least one year of pastry kitchen experience, a positive energy, and the ability to read and follow baking directions. The role requires teamwork, strong communication, and a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all dessert and baked goods using standard recipes.
• Adhere to portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules.
• Complete a Daily Prep List and Closing Checklist and maintain a clean work station.
• Report shortages, equipment problems or food quality issues to Pastry Chef.
