Job summary

Eden Roc Miami Beach is seeking a Pastry Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. You will prepare, bake and present a range of pastries and confections, working closely with our Pastry Chefs to refine techniques and elevate dessert offerings in a luxury oceanfront setting.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years pastry experience, a culinary degree or hospitality certification preferred, and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Pastry experience.
• College degree or certification in culinary field/hospitality field preferred.
• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other Team Members.
• Ability to work extended hours when business necessitates.
• Read, write and speak and understand English.
• Ability to understand financial goals and accomplish them.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake and present a wide variety of pastries and confections.
• Collaborate with Pastry Chefs to learn new techniques and elevate desserts.
