Job summary

Eden Roc Miami Beach, a legendary oceanfront resort, is seeking a Pastry Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. You will contribute to the dessert program by preparing, baking, and presenting a variety of pastries, cakes, and confections.

You’ll work closely with our Pastry Chefs to develop flavors, learn techniques, and elevate desserts for guests in a luxury setting. Candidates should have at least 2 years of pastry experience and a passion for quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years pastry experience
• College degree or certification in culinary field/hospitality field preferred
• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other Team Members
• Ability to work extended hours when business necessitates
• Read, write and speak and understand English
• Ability to understand financial goals and accomplish them

Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake, and present a wide variety of pastries, cakes, and confections.
• Collaborate with Pastry Chefs to learn techniques and elevate dessert offerings.
• Assist in maintaining the pastry program's quality and consistency.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness in the pastry prep area.
